ABOUT LOUIS SPARRE

At only 30 years old, Louis Sparre has had quite an interesting video career thus far. He has produced videos for such bands and artists as Phoenix, Moby (coming soon), The xx, Temper Trap, Fanfarlo, Phantogram, Travis and many many more.  He has contributed his editing skills to videos for such artists as Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Willie Nelson w/ Wynton Marsalis and others.  He has served time at MTV as well as Danny Clinch's grammy nominated 3 on the Tree Productions. He's shot Nobel Prize winners as well as Dentist's infomercials. He has shown work at the Moma's Time Warner Theater as well as the Brooklyn Academy of Music.  He's done pharma, political, charity, animation, artist docs, electronic press kits and everything in between.  He has also shot over 120 weddings and is constantly working to improve the quality of those videos on both technical as well as creative levels.  2012 will demonstrate a dramatic increase in quality and technique in his work.

Sparre comes from a very long line of portrait painters and views Tweed Weddings as the continuation of that family tradition with the use of modern tools.  It is Sparre's goal to have your wedding film created for the sake of present enjoyment as well as posterity. In fact, everyone here at Tweed Weddings hopes that your video will be viewed for decades and even centuries to come. Posterity is a word that gets thrown around a lot here at the studio. 

ABOUT THE ASSOCIATES :

The associate shooters who work for Tweed Weddings are by no means a "B-Team" of random weirdos found on craigslist.  They are a tight crew of 4 videographers who are professional in both their demeanor as well as their approach to capturing high quality footage. More than half of the footage featured on this website was shot by associate shooters.  References for all of our Associate Shooters are available.  We also put you in touch directly with the shooter before the event and specific work samples for each shooter can be shown ahead of time.  A lot of these guys could easily run their own wedding businesses, were they not excelling in other niches of the video universe.

When you sign on for the associates package we cannot reserve a specific shooter more than six months ahead of time.  We can however assure you that it will be one of the shooters whose work is featured on the "Associates" page of this website.  We can also put you in touch directly with the shooter one month ahead of time to iron out any details or concerns.
